Earlier this month, we were absolutely thrilled to be a headline sponsor of the Merchant Adventurers’ Charity Beer Festival in York!
The historic Merchant Adventurers’ Hall in the city centre was buzzing across four sessions, where over 30 fantastic breweries provided a huge range of flavours and types of beer. The event attracted thousands of visitors, who also enjoyed live music and incredible street food to go with their fine ales.
Most importantly, the event is on track to raise an incredible £25,000 for the Merchant Adventurers’ Charitable Trust.
Where the Money Goes: Investing in the Next Generation
As a manufacturer, we know firsthand how vital skills, training, and hands-on experience are. The £25k raised over the weekend will directly fund brilliant initiatives across York, including:
- Free school visits to historic sites, making heritage accessible to all.
- Business and enterprise programmes designed to inspire young minds.
- Apprenticeship awards that support and celebrate the industry leaders of tomorrow.

A Word From Our Managing Director
“Supporting events that give something back to our communities is incredibly important to us. The Merchant Adventurers’ Charity Beer Festival has become a fantastic Yorkshire event, bringing people together while raising vital funds that will make a real difference to young people across York.
As a Yorkshire manufacturer, we’re proud to support an event that celebrates local businesses, local producers and the power of community. Seeing thousands of people enjoying the festival while helping to raise significant funds for education and apprenticeship opportunities makes our involvement especially worthwhile.”
