Tadweld’s Commitment to Our Local Community

At Tadweld, we’re deeply rooted in the Tadcaster community and are committed to supporting the people and organisations that make our town such a great place to live and work. We’re proud to share that over the past year, we’ve provided over £3,000 in donations and sponsorships to local schools, charities, and community groups.

Our community is incredibly important to us, and it’s a pleasure to contribute to so many amazing initiatives. From helping to refurbish the community athletics track at Tadcaster Grammar School to supporting the vital work of the Tadcaster Volunteer Community Support Association charity shop, we’re proud to play a part.

These contributions are part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility efforts. We know that these organisations do so much, and we want to help them continue their important work. Looking ahead, our goal is to increase our support, aiming to contribute a total of £5,000 to the local community by the end of the year.

Over the past 12 months, our sponsorships and donations have also included:

• Becoming a front-of-shirt sponsor for Tadcaster Magnets Football Club.
• Helping to fund the Young Enterprise “Company Programme” at Tadcaster Grammar School.
• Sponsoring two players from Acorn Rugby, including our very own Tadweld employee, Josh Banks.
• Providing club sponsorship for both Walton Cricket Club and Tadcaster Cricket Club.
• Donating to Tadcaster Community Library to support their children’s summer programme.
• Supporting the Breakfast Club at Riverside Primary School.

We’re incredibly grateful for the positive feedback we’ve received and look forward to strengthening our ties with the local community for years to come.
