What defines a "custom fabrication" at Tadweld?

As a project engineering business, most of our projects are unique to a clients requirements, albeit normally within a set of regular product ranges. A custom product is any bespoke metalwork project that falls outside of our regular products. From sculptures to boat ramps, outdoor kitchens to bike racks, and benches to facades, if it’s a metal fabrication, we’ll find a way to make it.

Can you fabricate from my own drawings or concepts?

We can work from your initial sketches, formal blueprints, or even a simple problem statement. Our in-house design team uses AutoCAD, Autodesk Advance Steel and AutoDesk Inventor to turn your concept into a 3D, build-ready reality.

What materials can you manufacture in?

Our most common materials are mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, but we can also work with speciality metals like copper, brass, corten (weathering steel) and others. Speak to our team today if you have an unusual project, we love a challenge!

Do you offer installation services?

Yes, we provide a complete service covering the design, fabrication, and installation of our projects, or we can ship directly to you for self-installation. Should you opt for installation, all of our installers are CSCS accredited and have a wide range of skills-based and safety qualifications.

Are all of your welders qualified and coded?

Yes, all structural welding is performed by our team of coded welders. We operate to established standards for welder qualification (BS EN ISO 9606), procedure approval (BS EN ISO 15614), and quality management (BS EN ISO 3834). This ensures that every piece of steel meets the rigorous integrity standards required for structural secondary steelwork.
