Sheet Metal Worker


The ideal candidate for this Sheet Metal Worker role should have experience of TIG welding in Stainless steel/aluminium Mild Steel, to EN1090 standard and be familiar with press break operation, with previous sheet metal fabrication experience.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

Welder Fabricator


You will report to the Workshop Manager and will be primarily responsible for welding or fabrication of bespoke products and structural steel works. The ideal candidate for this Welder/Fabricator role will have relevant experience of fabricating or welding within a workshop environment.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

  • Light to heavy fabrication
  • MIG welding to EN1090 Standard
  • Grinding, operating saws, punching, cropping and finishing
  • Use own initiative, self-motivated

This role, based within a steel fabrication workshop, requires a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment. On-the-job training will be provided in specialist areas of the job and there is a potential for site installations.

Apprentice Welder / Fabricator (Level 3 with Derwent Training)


We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and develop their skills within an apprentice steel fabricator/welder role.

Full training and job progression will be available with support from the Workshop Manager and senior workshop engineers. You will develop the skills to read engineering drawings and carry out a variety of forms of welding and fabrication skills alongside attending college.

Candidates are required to hold a minimum of 4 GCSE A-C/9-4 including Maths, English and Science. Level 2 Functional skills courses can be taken if appropriate grades in English and Maths not held at the start of the apprenticeship.
